Dear Colleagues,
Due to the current coronavirus COVID-19 health crisis, we are sad to inform you that the 15th Annual Western States Rural Transportation Technology Implementers Forum in Yreka, CA, June 16-18, 2020, is canceled.
Following recommendations from the CDC and the State of California Governor’s Office, we believe that canceling the Forum is in the best interest of all participants, particularly given uncertainty with travel restrictions, teleworking and pending workload upon return to normalcy.
This is not an action the steering committee has taken lightly -- a lot had been done to make this year’s Forum a success. We gratefully acknowledge the work many have already put into this year’s Forum, including the presenters, participants, meeting coordinators and vendors. Cancellation will impact all these individuals.
On a positive note, we fully intend to have a 16th Annual Western States Rural Transportation Technology Implementers Forum in June 2021. Stay tuned for details as planning for next year’s Forum will begin soon. Together, we will make next year’s Western States Forum awesome once again!!!
Thank you for your understanding during these trying times.
